Headaches

There are three types of headaches:

1)      Tension headache: This type of headache usually occurs on both sides of the head with mild to moderate type of pain. It feels like something is pressing tightly around your head and is also known as “band-like” pain. These headaches will heighten with stress, fatigue, light and noise

2)      Migraine headache: This type of headache affiliates more in women than men and are periodic, severe, and throbbing. Migraines initiate in and around the eye and spreads to one or both sides of the head. They are caused by changes to the blood flow in the head. Other symptoms follow, such as, appetite, nausea, vomit and light sensitivity.

3)      Cervicogenic headache: This type of headache originates from the cervical spine. It poses similar symptoms to tension headaches but migraine symptoms may also be present.
